New Show at Chloe Fine Arts in San Francisco

There will be a showing of my work this Saturday,  August 17 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Chloe Fine Arts in San Francisco.  I will be showing some more of my new "primitive" pieces and related work on paper such as this piece, Lupus (detail), 2013, pastel on paper.  On these paper pieces I use the pastel dust and "pieces" to enhance the overall effect of movement. By seeing the materials on the art in this way, we are reminded of the landscape and the earth and rocks we all inhabit.
